
Donut – Free Pattern
The Donut uses a 5 mm hook and bulky weight yarn. When using the recommended hook size, yarn and yarn under (x stitch), it measures 3 inches/7.6 centimeters.
Some of the skills used in this pattern are chain, single crochet, half double crochet, increase, decrease, front and back loop only and finish off. The pattern includes complete assembly details with pictures.
Donut
Start with Beige.
Round 1: Ch 10, join with a sc to the first ch, 9 sc. [10]
Round 2: (inc) x 10. [20]
Round 3: (sc, inc) x 10. [30]
Rounds 4-5: 30 sc. [30] (2 rounds)
Change to Pink
Round 6: 30 sc. [30]
Round 7: BLO, 30 sc. [30]
Round 8: (sc, dec) x 10. [20]
Round 9: 20 sc. [20]
Round 10: (dec) x 10. [10]
Cut yarn and leave a tail for sewing. Sew the center of the donut together. Stuff as you sew it.
Frosting
Holding your donut with beige color facing away from you, join pink yarn in the FLO from round 6. (sl st, sk st, 4hdc in next st, sk st) x 8, sl st to first st.
Cut yarn and leave a tail for sewing. Secure stitches around the frosting to keep it flat against the donut.
