
I Love you a Latte – Free Pattern
This Latte is part of a 101 Mini Crochet Pattern challenge.
Materials
I used Bulky Weight Chenille Yarn:
- Pink
- Teal
- White
- 8 mm safety eyes
- Stuffing
- Black embroidery thread
Abbreviations
- MR – Magic ring
- Ch – Chain
- Sl st – Slip stitch
- Sc – Single crochet
- Inc – Increase
- Dec – Decrease
- FO – Fasten off
- (…) – Repeat the instruction inside these brackets the given number of times.
- […] – Total number of stitches at the end of the round.
Cup Wrapper
Use Pink.
Round 1: Ch 24, join chain with a sc, 23 sc. [24]
Rounds 2- 4: 24 sc. [24]
Cut yarn and leave a tail for sewing. Add eyes between rounds 2 and 3, with 2 visible stitches in between.
Embroider a smile.
Cup
Use Teal.
Round 1: 6 sc in MR. [6]
Round 2: (inc) x 6. [12]
Round 3: (sc, inc) x 6. [18]
Round 4: BLO, 18 sc. [18]
Round 5: sc, inc, (2 sc, inc) x 5, sc. [24]
Rounds 6-12: 24 sc. [24]
Cut yarn and weave in end.
Place the cup wrapper around the cup between rounds 7 and 10.
Lid
Use White.
Round 1: 6 sc in MR. [6]
Round 2: (inc) x 6. [12]
Round 3: (sc, inc) x 6. [18]
Round 4: BLO, 18 sc. [18]
Round 5: sc, inc, (2 sc, inc) x 5, sc. [24]
Round 6: Working through both the top and cup, 24 sc.
Add stuffing before you finish this round. (pictures 1-2)
Round 7: 24 sl st. [24]
Cut yarn and weave in end.
