
Mini Frankenstein Ghost – Free Pattern

Yarn used: Premier Parfait Chunky
(100g/120m/131yds) – Weight 6
- Keylime (1150-49)
- Teddy Bear (1150-36)
- Pale Gray (1150-24)
5.5 mm hook
16 mm safety eyes
Stuffing
Scraps of thin black yarn
Darning/Tapestry needle
Scissors
Stitch marker
Arms
Use Keylime, make 2. Stuff the hand lightly.
Round 1: 5 sc in MR. [5]
Round 2: (inc) × 5. [10]
Rounds 3-4: 10 sc. [10] (2 rounds)
Round 5: (dec) x 2, 6 sc. [8]
Rounds 6-7: 8 sc. [8] (2 rounds)
Round 8: 4 sc, flatten and make 4 sc across. [4]
Cut yarn and leave a long tail for sewing.
Head/Body
Start with Black. Stuff as you go.
Round 1: 6 sc in MR. [6]
Round 2: (inc) × 6. [12]
Round 3: (sc, inc) × 6. [18]
Round 4: sc, inc, (2 sc, inc) x 5, sc. [24]
Round 5: (3 sc, inc) x 6. [30]
Round 6: 2 sc, inc, (4 sc, inc) x 5, 2 sc. [36]
Round 7: (5 sc, inc) x 6. [42]
Round 8: 42 sc. [42]
Change to Keylime.
Round 9: BLO, 42 sc. [42] (This round 9 is only for Frankenstein)
Rounds 10-15: 42 sc. [42] (8 rounds)
Insert eyes between rounds 12 and 13 with 6 visible stitches in between.
Round 16: (5 sc, dec) x 6. [36]
Round 17: 2 sc, dec, (4 sc, dec) x 5, 2 sc. [30]
Round 18: (3 sc, dec) x 6. [24]
Rounds 19-20: 24 sc. [24] (2 rounds)
Round 21: (5 sc, inc) x 4. [28]
Round 22-23: 28 sc. [28] (2 rounds)
Round 24: (13 sc, inc) x 2. [30]
Rounds 25-27: 30 sc. [30] (3 round)
Change to Teddy Bear.
Round 28: 30 sc. [30]
Round 29: (13 sc, dec) x 2. [28]
Round 30: 7 sc, (sc, dec) x 4, 9 sc. [24] *The decreases in parentheses should be on the right or
left side of the body. *
Round 31: 7 sc, (dec) x 4, 9 sc. [20]
Round 32: 20 sc. [20]
Round 33: 4 sc, *(sc, dec) x 4, 4 sc. [16]
Round 34: 4 sc, (dec) x 4, 4 sc. [12]
Round 35: sc, (dec) x 4, 3 sc. [8]
Round 36: (2 sc, dec) x 2. [6]
Cut yarn and weave end through the remaining front loops. Pull tight to close.
Bowtie
Use Pale Gray.
Round 1: Leave a long starting tail. In magic ring- Ch 3, 3 tr, ch 3, sl st, ch 3, 3 tr, ch 3, sl st. [8]
Cut yarn and leave a long tail for sewing. Wrap one strand of yarn around the center of the bow.
Sew onto your ghost.
Assembly
1. Sew arms between rounds 20 and 21. The two decreases you made in round 5, should be
facing inward when sewing (facing the body).
2. Embroider a smile.
3. Sew the bowtie on the body.
4. Embroider a scar on top of one of the eyes.
