
Popsicle – Free Pattern
A sweet, summer snack. This popsicle can most often be found on the beach in the hands of children.
Size
When using the recommended hook size, yarn, the yarn under method (x stitch), the popsicle measures 3.75 inches/9.75 centimeters.
Materials
Materials needed to create the toy in order to replicate my toy:
- Crochet hook size: 5 mm hook
- Yarn used: Bulky Weight Chenille Yarn (Weight 5)- (Beige and Light Blue)
- Stuffing
- Darning needle
- Stitch marker (optional)
Popsicle
Start with Light Blue. Stuff as you go.
Round 1: 6 sc in MR. [6]
Round 2: (inc) x 6. [12]
Round 3: (sc, inc) x 6. [18]
Round 4: sc, inc, (2 sc, inc) x 5, sc. [24]
Rounds 5-11: 24 sc. [24] (7 rounds)
Round 12: sc, dec, (2 sc, dec) x 5, sc. [18]
Round 13: (sc, dec) x 6. [12]
Round 14: (sc, dec) x 4. [8]
Change to Beige.
Rounds 15-19: 8 sc. [8] (5 rounds)
Round 20: (2 sc, dec) x 2. [6]
Cut yarn and weave end through the remaining front loops.
