
Sleeping Bag – Free Pattern
You can’t go to a sleepover without your sleeping bag. That is the number 1 rule for sleepovers, you must bring your sleeping bag.
Size
When using the recommended hook size, yarn, the yarn under method (x stitch), the sleeping bag measures 5 inches/12.7 centimeters.
Materials
Materials needed to create the toy in order to replicate my toy:
- Crochet hook size: 5 mm hook
- Yarn used: Bulky Weight Chenille Yarn (Weight 5)- Mint
- Stuffing
- Darning needle
- Stitch marker (optional)
Sleeping Bag
Use Mint.
Row 1: Ch 25, starting in the 3rd ch from the hook, 23 dc, ch 2 and turn. [23]
Rows 2-10: 23 dc, ch 2 and turn. [23] (9 rows)
Row 11: 23 sc. [23] – sc down the side of the sleeping bag, leave a long tail for sewing.
Join yarn on the other side of the sleeping bag and sc down the side and leave a tail for sewing.
Sew the bottom edge of the sleeping bag.
Sew a little less that half of the long edge, leaving space to add your animal or doll.
